My plot for my music video has been constructed to link to much of Goodwin's theory, demonstrating my awareness for the conventions of music videos. Therefore I can add my own unique touch for my target audience, to accurately create an effective piece.
Goodwin's Theory
2. There is a relationship between lyrics and visuals (either illustrative, amplifying, contradicting).
The song is talking about the morning after a night out, the visuals reflect the hangover and the other ramifications of a night out.
But then last night was so much fun
And now your sheets are dirty
The streets are dirty too but
You never look back over what you've done
Remember when you were young
You'd lose yourself
In the morning, you know you won't remember a thing
In the morning, you know it's gonna be alright.

The tempo of the song is allegro, very brisk and cheerful, demonstrating a contradicting to how the characters in the original video (unable to move normally, zombie like) and the more conventional character in my video is similar in his visible weariness.
