Here is my reworking of the first 30 seconds of my music video, including most notably the switch to black and white. I'm still not delighted with 1 or 2 shots, but as this is part of the rough cut (which will be uploaded on Friday) I know that I'm heading in the right direction. Please enjoy, and comments opinions on the video!

I think the band footage certainly looks better, although the editing needs to be a bit tighter. I would be tempted to keep your narrative footage in colour to create a contrast. You need to think carefully about that shot of the phone; I would blur out the swear-word since otherwise you would not be able to show your video before the watershed...
